We are delighted to celebrate the achievements of Elsie, Lauren and FP Frederick, who have successfully completed their Gold Music Leadership Awards, and Zoe and David who have achieved Silver.

Often hailed as the musical equivalent to the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, the RCS Music Leadership Award is available at Bronze, Silver and Gold levels and provides pupils who are performing at a high level with opportunities to develop their skills and experience beyond the curriculum.

Throughout the award, pupils take part in a range of activities designed to develop their musical and leadership abilities.  These include critically reflecting on performances, working alongside professional musicians and developing confidence and expertise in ensemble leadership, equipping them with essential skills to prepare them for life beyond the classroom.

We are incredibly proud of our pupils for their hard work and dedication to their musical development.
