Morrison’s Academy is delighted to congratulate all of its Senior pupils on an excellent set of results in the 2023 SQA examinations. The outstanding results are testament to the commitment, hard work and ability of its pupils, the support of their families and the high quality teaching and learning environment of Morrison’s Academy.

Mr Andrew J McGarva, the school’s Rector said: “I am very proud of our pupils’ achievements in this year’s SQA examinations and I look forward to personally congratulating them all. 

“It is right and important to celebrate these achievements, however, it is also important to remember that these results only reflect a small part of their journey. The real celebration comes from the many personal successes along the way that help to build a pupil’s personal sense of pride, character and confidence. Excellent exam results are really just the icing on the cake.

“The educational endeavour is at the heart of everything we do and I am indebted to all of our staff for the guidance and support they provide. They commit daily to ensure that pupils thrive, not only with excellent exam results but as resilient and caring young people.

“I would also like to thank our parents for their continued support and for being excellent partners in the education of their children.” 

The results from Perthshire’s leading independent day school are as follows: 

• S6’s achieved a 92% A-C Advanced Higher pass rate.
• S5’s achieved a 96% A-C Higher pass rate with 2/3rds awarded at ‘A’ grade.
• S4’s achieved a 95% A-C National 5 pass rate.
