Morrison’s Academy – layering foundations at every stage.
The first steps in a child’s education are crucial for their confidence, long term learning habits and happiness.
The lower primary stages are key developmental areas in a child’s life and it is crucial to provide the very best start. At Morrison’s Academy our experienced teachers and staff encourage a love for learning, build strong academic foundations and a drive to do the best a child can from the very beginning.
Each class has a dedicated teacher who knows each and every pupil, supporting them in their formative stages of learning. Once a strong foundation has been established we push pupils to grow and gain confidence, instilling a genuine thirst for knowledge and desire to learn.
Morrison’s Academy’s deliberately capped class sizes means that we do not operate composite classes. Our teachers are able to focus on the developmental milestones of specific year groups and deliver a truly personalised education.
Morrison’s Academy places true value on consolidating the foundations established in the lower primary years before moving up to the Secondary, and has adopted a two form entry for Primary 5, Primary 6 and Transitional (Primary 7). Focusing on these key stages in smaller class sizes enables our teachers to identify areas for reinforcement, support and development, fully preparing our pupils for their entry into the Secondary school.
