First Sports Dinner at Morrison’s Academy Raises Funds for MND Research

What a night! Over 180 guests joined us on Saturday 28th February for our first-ever Sports Dinner, raising funds for the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation and vital research into Motor Neurone Disease.

The evening was filled with laughter, sporting inspiration and a wonderful sense of community. Guests enjoyed comedy from Susie McCabe, followed by an engaging after-dinner conversation with former Scotland rugby international Craig Chalmers. The entertainment didn’t stop there – the night was topped off with a surprise performance from the Singing Waiters, which brought plenty of energy and fun to the room.

We were also privileged to hear inspiring words and valuable insight from Nicola Roseman, CEO of the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, who spoke passionately about the impact of the charity’s work and the importance of continued research.

The evening was expertly hosted by our very own Scott Weston, Director of Sport, while pupils served a delicious three-course feast made possible by Thomas Franks.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, sponsored or supported the event. Your generosity and enthusiasm made the evening such a success. We’ll be sharing the total amount raised very soon – so watch this space!
