Assistant Rector at Morrison’s Academy Makes Shortlist for Scottish Cycling Award
Morrison’s Academy is delighted to share that Assistant Rector, Colin Nicoll, has been shortlisted for a Scottish Cycling Award.
This nomination recognises Colin’s vision and leadership in founding the Scottish Schools’ Mountain Bike Championships (SSMBCs) – an event brought to life through a fantastic partnership between Comrie Croft, Scottish Cycling and Morrison’s Academy, just three years ago.
The success of the SSMBCs so far has been a real team effort. Thank you to all the volunteers, schools, sponsors (Alpine Bikes, Tradstocks and Fortan Activewear) and supporters. It is their enthusiasm and commitment that continue to drive the success and growth of this exciting initiative.
Whatever the outcome, we’re proud to see the SSMBCs being recognised in this way – and look forward to inspiring more young riders and building a brighter future for youth cycling in Scotland.
