As the year closes on Morrison’s Academy’s special 165 birthday celebrations, preparations are well underway for a Whole School Art Exhibition & Fashion Show – a special evening celebrating the creativity, talent and innovation that continues to flourish at our school.

Orchestrated by Head of Art & Design, Paula O’Neill, the exhibition which takes place on Friday 14 November will showcase an incredible range of work from across our school community – from the imaginative creations of our youngest Nursery artists to the impressive pieces by our S6 pupils. The evening will also feature a fashion show in Memorial Hall, with designs made by our talented pupils and modelled by both current and former pupils.

Our Art and Design Department continues to go from strength to strength, with pupils consistently achieving outstanding academic results and producing work that reflects the highest levels of creativity and skill.

All our pupils have already been hard at work preparing and excitement is building as the event approaches. Guests are in for a treat with a selection of delicious canapes being made by a group of pupils in our practical cookery class, led by Stella Russon, Subject Coordinator of Health, Food and Textiles Technology.
