Event

Excitement is building as the Morrison’s Academy Sports Dinner approaches, with a fantastic line-up confirmed for what promises to be an unforgettable evening of sport, entertainment and community spirit.

Award-winning Scottish comedian Susie McCabe, known for her appearances on Have I Got News for You, The News Quiz and Off the Ball, will be joined by former Scotland international and British & Irish Lions player Craig Chalmers as guest speaker. Craig, who earned 60 caps for Scotland and remains one of the most respected voices in rugby, will take part in a lively Q&A session, sharing stories and insights from his remarkable career at the very highest level of the game.

Hosting the evening will be our very own Director of Sport, Scott Weston, who also serves as Stadium Announcer and on-pitch entertainer for the Glasgow Warriors, ensuring an energetic and engaging night from start to finish.

Guests will enjoy a delicious three-course dinner courtesy of our caterers Thomas Franks, along with a raffle and auction – all while supporting the Hockey and Rugby tour to France and raising vital funds for the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation.

The black tie event will take place on Saturday, 28 February 2026, in the Academy Hall. Tickets are £85 per person or £850 per table of 10 and with numbers limited and tickets selling fast, guests are encouraged to secure their place by contacting events@morrisonsacademy.org.
