Mrs Catherine Precious became the fourteenth Rector of Morrison’s Academy in August 2026. 

Catherine heads up our Senior Leadership Team and is responsible for the overall leadership of the school. 

She liaises with the Board of Governors, the Head of our Primary School and the heads of department in the Secondary School. She is also in contact with prospective and current parents, former pupils of the school, educational bodies and other agencies. Catherine has an established track record of senior leadership and a strong commitment to educational excellence and school improvement. Prior to her appointment at Morrison’s Academy, she was Headteacher at Jersey College Prep & Vice Principal at Jersey College for Girls. Before moving to Jersey, she held senior leadership roles in the UK and internationally, including Executive Headteacher for the Ta’allum Group in Qatar and headship positions in York.
